Lindsey Strom received her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communications from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign in 2004. In 2008, Lindsey graduated from DePaul University School of Law, and was admitted to the Illinois bar. During law school, Lindsey worked at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in the Juvenile Justice Bureau. She obtained her 711 license and successfully prosecuted juveniles in narcotics and domestic violence cases. Before working at Strom & Associates, Ltd., Lindsey practiced workers’ compensation as an insurance defense attorney. Her experience in working for the insurance companies has provided a wealth of knowledge and has made her better equipped to help those injured workers’ in need. Lindsey is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association, The American Bar Association, The Illinois State Bar Association and The Chicago Bar Association. In 2013, Lindsey was selected to be a board member for the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers’ Association Young Lawyers’ Section.
In 2013, Lindsey was also selected by Super Lawyers & Chicago Magazine to the prestigious Rising Stars List as one of the top up and coming attorneys in Illinois. This is an honor received by only 2.5 percent of attorneys in Illinois each year. In October 2013, Lindsey was also recognized by Chicago Magazine and Super Lawyers, as one of the Top Women Attorneys in Illinois. In 2015, Lindsey was recognized as one of the ‘10 Best’ attorneys for Illinois by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys. In order to achieve this honor, one must be formally nominated by the board, clients, and/or a fellow attorney; have attained the highest degree of professional achievement in his or her field of law; and have an impeccable client satisfaction rating.
In 2015 and 2016, Lindsey was recognized as an Emerging Lawyer in Illinois. Emerging Lawyers are made up of the top two percent of lawyers who are 40 years old or younger OR practicing law 10 years or less and have proven themselves professional, ethical and experienced at an early point in their legal career.
In 2015 and 2016, Lindsey was recognized as one of the “Best Emerging Injury Lawyer – USA” by Acquisition International. This prestigious award officially recognizes Lindsey as one of the most outstanding performers in her field. All of this year’s winners were either self-nominated, voted for by a third-party or put forward by Acquisition International.
