Lisa Ann Landry

Lisa Ann Landry is an associate at Cushing & Dolan's Waltham office. She drafts estate planning documents in the firm's Elder Law Group with a focus on eliminating estate taxes, avoiding probate, and protecting assets from long term care costs. Such plans include irrevocable Medicaid trusts, revocable trusts, (d)(4)(A) special needs trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, Wills, Health Care Proxies, Durable Powers of Attorney, HIPAA releases, Living Wills, and related documents.

Lisa Ann also researches various topics regarding Medicaid and estate planning matters. She writes briefs for MassHealth appeals in collaboration with the Elder Law team.

Before and during law school, Lisa Ann worked in corporate law, investments & finance, estate administration, estate planning, family law, and at a general practice. During law school, she also worked as a research assistant for Tamar Frankel, with a focus on fiduciary law and securitization, and was an Articles Editor for the Review of Banking and Financial Law. She continued her interest in fiduciary law and trusts & estates work in her note, Succession Planning for Professionals: A Common Breach of Fiduciary Duties? Lisa Ann gained further experience by participating in programs such as mock negotiations and business deals, the NALSA National Moot Court Competition, and a pro bono spring break trip to Detroit, working with individuals facing foreclosure and similar circumstances. Studying abroad in Germany provided her with the opportunity to learn more about international business law, building on her prior courses and experience. She also has worked in tax preparation, construction management, and corporate citizenship (corporate social responsibility).
