She has authored hundreds of coverage opinions on a wide variety of first and third party coverage issues. She has litigated declaratory relief, bad faith, and equitable contribution claims through trial, and has briefed and argued appeals. Lisa is a capable and creative negotiator in mediations and settlement discussions, successfully resolving difficult cases involving multiple carriers and uncovered liabilities. She has developed specialized knowledge in the areas of habitability claims, construction defect, sexual and physical abuse claims, Cumis counsel issues, settlements pursuant to Blue Ridge reservations and the resultant reimbursement litigation, and both first and third party bad faith claims.

Lisa is admitted to practice in all California State and Federal Courts, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

During law school, Lisa worked as an extern for the Honorable Stephen Rheinhardt on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and was able to participate in all aspects of the legal analysis and decision making process. She earned her Juris Doctor in 2002, and was admitted to the California State Bar that same year.

Before joining the firm, Lisa defended physicians and other healthcare practitioners in civil malpractice cases and administrative disciplinary proceedings before the various California licensing boards.
