Biography

Lisa J. Babiarz has been specializing in all aspects of workers compensation law for the past 14 years. Prior to receiving her law degree from Syracuse University in 1999, Lisa spent 12 years as a Registered Professional Nurse, working at the Auburn Memorial Hospital. With training and experience in both law and nursing, Lisa is particularly well qualified to understand how an injury can affect a person's ability to work, and to advocate for the medical treatment which an injured worker requires. Lisa is a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court, the New York State Bar, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the Injured Workers Bar Association. Her experience includes working for a law firm, which represented workers compensation insurance companies, and working as a Nurse Case Manager for a workers compensation agency. In addition to her law degree, Lisa has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse.
