Ms. Sievers graduated cum laude from Boston University School of Law and was a Note and Comment Editor of the Boston University Law Review. Lori received her Bachelor of Arts from the Binghamton University of New York, graduating
cum laude.A Capital Region native, Ms. Sievers currently resides on a small farm in Saratoga County with her husband and two sons. The whole family can be found at school volleyball games and club tournaments, unlocking escape rooms and enjoying time with their extended family.
Representative Accomplishments
Ms. Sievers has served on multiple New York State task forces and workgroups as a representative of assisted living providers including the Assisted Living Task Force, which developed New York’s assisted living regulation, and the Assisted Living Licensure Streamlining Group, which developed the current Assisted Living Common Application. She has also contributed to a workgroup tasked with providing input into the Assisted Living Program Need Methodology and collaborated with the Department of Health to develop an alternative to the formerly mandated residency agreement.
Professional/Community
Lori is the past president of the Round Lake/Malta Youth Baseball League and currently volunteers with her family for the Mechanicville chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

Ms. Sievers is a frequent lecturer at assisted living trade association conferences and continuing education programs.
