Biography

Lorraine S. Ricco is an associate attorney at WSHB’s New York City office, handling all facets of complex civil litigation. She brings valuable experience in premises liability and personal injury to the firm.

Lorraine graduated from Syracuse University with a double major in Psychology and Child and Family Studies. She received her master’s degree in Psychology from St. John's University and then earned her Juris Doctor from the CUNY School of Law.

While pursuing her master’s degree, Lorraine interned with the Department of Corrections on Riker's Island, developing programs to reduce recidivism. While in law school, she interned for Mental Hygiene Legal Services and the Waterfront Commission of New York Harbor. Lorraine was also a Franklin Siegel Public Interest Fellow and a Catalyst Public Service Fellow.

After law school, she worked as a legal assistant and then, upon becoming an attorney, worked at a non-profit organization, where she advocated for students with traumatic brain injuries to receive appropriate services under the IDEA.

Lorraine is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, the Southern District of New York, and the Eastern District of New York.
