Biography

Louis Perfetto is a founding partner and the managing partner of Cohen & Perfetto. Before he started Cohen and Perfetto, he was the co-managing partner of his former law firm with Mr. Cohen. There he co-chaired the real estate practice as well as created and expanded the firm's banking practice, after becoming the youngest partner in the firm's history. He concentrates his practice in the area of real estate transactions, banking, economic development, governmental incentives, conveyancing, commercial retail, office and ground leasing and financing, and he has a well developed specialty in financings with New York City's Industrial Development Agency and New York State's Empire State Development Corp.

In addition, he serves on the advisory committees of several financial institutions where he has helped advise them on evolving market conditions and legal developments.

Mr. Perfetto received a B.A. degree from St. Joseph's College. He graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and received his LL.M. from New York University.
