Louis is a founding partner of Cooper Levenson and has been practicing law since 1969 .Over the course of his long and distinguished career, he has focused his practice on insurance defense litigation representing insurance carriers, their insureds and self-insureds; insurance coverage litigation; commercial and residential construction defect litigation; and condominium litigation.
Louis has handled complex litigated matters across multiple lines of specialty and has earned a reputation for strategic client guidance thorough tireless preparation and effective advocacy. His extensive experience enables him to navigate challenging claims, manage risk, and achieve favorable outcomes for his clients.
Credentials
Louis is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney, a distinction that is achieved by less than 2% of all lawyers licensed in New Jersey. This certification and the re-certifications require the completion of extensive applications with endorsements from fellow trial practitioners and trial judges.
His extensive trial work has earned him acceptance into the prestigious professional organization of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Lawyers can only be admitted into this select group by invitation and must meet rigorous requirements including not only their extensive trial experience and abilities, but also their civility and professionalism.
