Biography

Louise Hochberg is a seasoned criminal defense attorney with over 15 years of experience representing clients in both private practice and public defense. Since 2012, she has successfully managed her own practice, offering strategic and dedicated advocacy for individuals facing a broad range of criminal charges. Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Hochberg served as a staff attorney—eventually promoted to supervisor—in the Criminal Defense Division of the Legal Aid Society in Manhattan. Her commitment to education is demonstrated through her role as an associate professor in the Criminal Law Clinic at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she also supervised cases with The Innocence Project, achieving exonerations based on DNA evidence. Ms. Hochberg earned her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater & Drama from the University of Wisconsin/Madison.
