Lucas C. Figiel

Lucas Figiel is the founding and managing partner of Inverness Legal, Ltd., where he focuses exclusively on family law. He has spent his entire career helping people navigate divorce, parentage cases, orders of protection, and other sensitive family-law matters. Lucas regularly handles property division and debt allocation, maintenance, child support, allocation of parental responsibilities, parenting time, post-high school education expense contributions, and protection orders. He earned his B.A. from Northwestern University in 2000, majoring in English literature and philosophy, and received his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2003, along with a certificate in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Lucas is licensed in Illinois and admitted to the Federal General Bar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the Advocates Society and the Illinois State Bar Association, and represents clients throughout Cook, DuPage, Lake, Will, McHenry, and Kane counties. Known for strong courtroom advocacy and thorough follow-through, Lucas is also fluent in Polish.
