Biography

Lydia V. Tran is an associate attorney practicing in Varner & Brandt’s Estate Planning and Wealth Preservation group in our Ontario office. Lydia assists clients with all aspects of their estate planning, including preparation of revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, and other estate planning documents. Lydia also assists clients with trust administration and probate proceedings. In addition, Lydia ‘s practice includes advising high net worth individuals on succession planning and implementing advanced planning strategies to reduce their estate tax liability. Lydia, along with the entire Varner & Brandt’s Estate Planning and Wealth Preservation group, works to carefully and thoughtfully curate estate plans individualized for each client.

Lydia received her undergraduate degree in English literature from the University of California, Riverside, cum laude (B.A., 2018) and her law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, cum laude (J.D., 2022). While in law school, Lydia served as a Lead Editor for the San Diego Law Review and received a Certificate of Concentration in Business and Corporate Law.

Lydia enjoys spending time with family, reading mystery novels, and trying out new restaurants.
