Biography

Mr. Dylan O’Reilly is a shareholder and director in Miller Stratvert P.A.’s Santa Fe, New Mexico office, where he handles a wide range of commercial transactions from loan documentation, secured transactions, real estate transactions, leases, business purchases and sales, as well as litigation matters involving partnership disputes, creditors’ rights, foreclosures, bankruptcy, and collections. With his transaction and litigation experience he frequently advises business owners. He also serves as a neutral mediator in commercial and real estate matters.

Mr. O’Reilly was appointed by the New Mexico Supreme Court to the New Mexico Board of Bar Examiners in 2020 (where he still serves and chairs the rules committee), and was elected to serve as a Bar Commissioner of the New Mexico State Bar starting in 2025. In 2020 he was appointed by the New Mexico Supreme Court to an ad hoc committee concerning litigation backlogs related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

His past board service includes Business Law Section of the New Mexico State Bar (2009-2013; chair 2012); Young Lawyer Division liaison to the state bar’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Section board; University of New Mexico School of Law Alumni Association (2011-2016); Leadership San Juan Alumni Association (2013-2014); Sexual Assault Services of Northwest New Mexico (including 3 years as president), and Santa Fe ProMusica (2016-2024, 1 year as secretary).
