Biography

Robb Thompson was born in 1974, in Kingsport, Tennessee. He was raised in Nashville, Tennessee and attended Davidson Academy graduating in 1992.

He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. During college he worked for the Criminal Court Clerk's Office in Nashville.

In 1998, Robb Thompson began work as a General Sessions Probation Officer for the Honorable Gale B. Robinson. A great extent of his caseload consisted of clients that were on probation for a Domestic Violence offense. The knowledge and experience he acquired working with clients, assistant district attorneys, the public defender's office, private attorneys and judges in the legal profession was priceless in preparing him for his profession as an attorney. He graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the Nashville School of Law in 2006.

After completing law school, he successfully passed the bar examination and received his law license to practice in the State of Tennessee in 2006. Robb Thompson maintains a practice in the areas of criminal law, divorce, juvenile, and personal injury.
