M. Vanessa Favia: Attorney with VF LAW, Ltd

Biography

As an attorney practicing in Illinois, I am admitted to the Illinois Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Sociology, graduating with honors from the University of Iowa, before pursuing a Juris Doctorate at Drake University School of Law. There, I also obtained a certification in litigation and dispute resolution. During my time in law school, I had the opportunity to clerk at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Iowa, the Iowa Attorney General's Office, the Polk County Prosecutor's Office, and the Youth Law Center. My practice now focuses on family law and real estate. Seek Justice, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly. (Micah 6:8) The First to Put Forth His Case Seems Right, Until Someone Else Steps Forward and Cross Examines Him. (Proverbs 18:17)
