Macie Ann Coburn

Macie Ann Coburn: Attorney with Ogborn Mihm LLP

Biography

Macie was born and raised in South Dakota, graduating from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Business Administration, a major in accounting, and a minor in political science. During high school and undergrad, Macie worked for her family’s companies (Palisades Propane, Inc. and Palisades Oil Co.), taking on many roles throughout the years as an accountant, human resource officer, and office manager.

After graduating from the University of South Dakota, Macie moved to Kansas City and worked as a staff accountant for Louis Dreyfus Companies (LDC). During her time at LDC, she provided financial trade and production accounting for many LDC entities. Macie enjoyed the complexity and problem-solving of accounting, but her creative side wasn’t satisfied.

Just shy of three years at LDC, Macie moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota to attend the University of St. Thomas School of Law, earning a Juris Doctor with a concentration in organizational ethics and compliance. Macie concentrated on Organizational Ethics and Compliance because she felt small businesses like her family’s need assistance in this growing area.

Macie joined Ogborn Mihm Quaintance, PLLC in 2022 and has assisted John Quaintance and Rachel Hanisch in their practices.
