Madeline J. Lee

Madeline J. Lee is a partner at the law firm of Bolen, Parker, Brenner & Lee, Ltd in Alexandria, Louisiana, specializing in insurance defense litigation, with an emphasis in medical malpractice and charitable organizations. She received her B.S. degree from L.S.U. in Business Administration in August 1987; her law degree from L.S.U. Law School in May of 1990; was admitted to practice law in 1990; was elected president of the Alexandria Bar Association in 2007 and president of Crossroads-American Inn of Court, 2003 - 2005; she is an instructor at the Trial Advocacy Program at LSU Law School (since 2001); long-time member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute and Louisiana Native Plant Society; and she's presently serving as the state liaison for the 2010 DRI Nursing Home Defense Seminar in Chicago; Ms. Lee has been a speaker at seminars for the National Business Institute in New Orleans (Nursing Home Litigation - December 2002 and October 2003), Evidence seminar in New Orleans, January 2003 and Nursing Home Litigation Seminar in June of 2003, Recent Updates in Medical Malpractice Law, Pro Bono Project Seminar, December 2008, Lafayette Bar Association - 2nd Annual Running in Heels Seminar, May 2010, panelist at Alexandria Mini-conclave on Diversity in the Legal Profession, May 2010. Ms. Lee serves as a board member for the Alexandria Zoo, Coastal Conservation Association (central Louisiana chapter) and the Louisiana Client Assistance Fund Committee and is a catechism teacher at St. Rita Catholic Church in Alexandria.
