A native of Annapolis, Maryland, Madeline earned her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law, where she received the Dean's Merit Scholarship and certification as a mediator. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Utah.

During law school, Madeline worked at a plaintiff's firm, assisting with mass tort cases, legal research, and filings. Additionally, she contributed to policy development at the Office of the Inspector General for the City of Baltimore.

Before attending law school, Madeline served as the Salt Lake City Mayor's Office's Boards & Commissions Manager and Communications Coordinator. In this role, she led diversity initiatives, managed communication strategies, and spearheaded the Equal Rights Amendment Campaign.
