Biography

Madelyn Nessler was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, where her passion for justice and advocacy first began to take shape. She attended Florida State University and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in criminology, proudly cheering on the Seminoles along the way. Driven by a desire to pursue meaningful change, Madelyn relocated to Washington, DC, to attend law school, motivated by her deep commitment to civil rights and advocating for individuals impacted by systemic inequities. She sought a legal career where she could make a tangible difference in people’s lives.

During law school, Madelyn distinguished herself both academically and through hands-on advocacy. She served as the Senior Note and Comment Editor of the Administrative Law Review, significantly strengthening her legal research and writing skills, and was separately recognized for her oral advocacy abilities. She also worked as a student attorney in the Washington College of Law’s Disability Rights Clinic, where she represented clients navigating Social Security disability matters and special education issues within DC public schools. These experiences reinforced her dedication to standing beside individuals during some of their most challenging moments.

After graduating, Madelyn briefly practiced family law, an experience that further confirmed her passion for helping people through difficult and emotionally charged situations before transitioning into personal injury law. She brings empathy, determination, and a strong advocacy mindset to every case she handles. Outside of work, Madelyn enjoys running and training for half marathons, staying active at the gym, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
