Madison Elle Katz

Madison Katz has been representing injured workers since 2013. Initially, prior to law school, Ms. Katz worked in our office as a file clerk where she learned the basics regarding the different phases of each claim and all the correspondence office work that follows. Specifically, Ms. Katz’s role was to enter paperwork into the electronic system, create and or update claimant’s files and make requests for outstanding medical records or evidence needed.

Thereafter, Ms. Katz entered Hofstra Law School in 2017. During her Juris Doctorate program, Ms. Katz continued to work for our law firm, but evolved from her role as a file clerk to becoming our legal intern. At that time, Ms. Katz would conduct significant legal research and shadow all the practicing attorneys in respect to their deposition, hearing and trial work. As a result, Ms. Katz has served as a zealous legal advocate for New Yorkers and has gained a significant amount of experience within the field of Workers’ Compensation even prior to being admitted.

Ms. Katz is now admitted to practice before the New York State Bar since 2021. Ms. Katz continues her passionate legal advocacy working for our firm and fighting for injured workers daily. Her representation of Workers’ Compensation claimants involves all aspects of the claim from the initial phases of filing, throughout the trial and appellate process, and all the way to permanency awards and settlements. Ms. Katz has appeared in front of Workers’ Compensation Law Judges at Boards in Manhattan, Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester.
