Biography

Malaak Abdulrazzak began her legal journey with a strong interest in advocacy and accountability, driven by a desire to protect individuals harmed by negligence and systemic misconduct. She pursued her legal education at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where she distinguished herself academically and through service. During law school, Malaak earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Civil Pretrial Practice and received the Van Horn Law Group Pro Bono Honors Program Gold Award for completing more than 300 hours of pro bono work. She also served as President of Toastmasters International, further strengthening her leadership and communication skills.

Following law school, Malaak built a solid foundation in complex litigation, working on large-scale cases involving class actions and mass torts. Her experience spans multiple areas, including product liability and tobacco-related addiction claims, and provides her with a deep understanding of coordinated legal strategy and high-stakes advocacy. This background shaped her ability to manage complex litigation, analyze factual records, and advocate effectively for individuals affected by widespread wrongdoing.

Malaak later focused her practice on medical malpractice, dedicating her work to representing individuals and families harmed by medical negligence. She concentrates on cases involving injuries arising from nursing homes and elder care facilities, where vulnerable patients often rely on institutions to provide safe and dignified care. Her approach is detail-oriented, compassionate, and firmly rooted in accountability, ensuring that negligent conduct goes unanswered.

Today, Malaak is a Medical Malpractice attorney at Morgan and Morgan’s Fort Lauderdale office. She is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Fluent in Arabic, Malaak can connect with a broader community of clients and provide culturally sensitive representation. She remains deeply committed to protecting the rights and dignity of patients and families while pursuing justice with care, clarity, and determination.
