Biography

Mallory Y. Schorr is an associate at the London Fischer Irvine office who focuses her practice on insurance coverage.

Mallory litigates and advises clients regarding coverage under personal and commercial lines. As a former court-appointed attorney, she has high-pressure courtroom experience, including in criminal and juvenile dependency proceedings. Prior to joining London Fischer, she advised insurance companies, conducted examinations under oath, and litigated insurance coverage, business, and labor and employment matters.

Mallory maintains close working relationships with clients and actively includes them in their matters. She firmly believes that written briefs tend to dictate a motion’s outcome, and takes pride in meticulous analysis and writing.

Mallory graduated from University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 2017, where she was active on UCLA Law Review. She was a recipient of the UC Presidential Service Fellowship and wrote appellate briefs at the Orange County Public Defender’s Office. In 2018, she joined Los Angeles Dependency Lawyers and was a court-appointed attorney for parents in juvenile dependency proceedings for two years.

From 2022 to 2025, Mallory has co-authored various insurance coverage publications, including:

“Till loss do us part: insuring wedding mishaps and contingencies.”
Westlaw Today & Thomson Reuters - June 20, 2025.

“Goodbye, 15 seconds of fame: why TikToks are not trending with insurers.”
Westlaw Today & Thomson Reuters - April 14, 2023.

Mallory is involved in the Orange County community, and frequently volunteers for mock trial and moot court competitions with CRF-OC, UC Irvine, and UCI Law.

In her free time, Mallory enjoys practicing power vinyasa yoga, sailing with her husband, and raising her mini American Shepherds, Cali and Roxy.
