Biography

Marc A. Lovell is a trial lawyer who protects the interests of his clients, including trucking / transportation companies, product manufacturers, electric cooperatives/utilities, city / county governments and their insurance carriers. He leads Harlin Parker’s Rapid Response Team which provides 24 hours / 7 days per week emergency investigation and representation to the transportation and manufacturing industry. Marc provides emergency response services in Kentucky & throughout the central region of the United States. He serves as Regional Counsel for transportation and insurance companies covering 10 states.

Marc is the General Counsel for Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corportation (WRECC) which is the largest electric cooperative in Kentucky and provides electricity across eight counties in Kentucky. He is also General Counsel for WRECC’s affiliate natural gas and propane companies.

He is the City Attorney for Brownsville, KY. He represents the Edmonson County Planning Commission and the Edmonson County Industrial Authority. Marc has defended city and county governments and law enforcement agencies across Kentucky.

Marc also advises the flood industry on litigation matters. Marc serves as regional counsel for flood determination and spacial solutions companies. He has served as a speaker and legal panelist at the National Flood Determination Association (NFDA) Annual Conference.

Marc practices / argues appellate cases before the Kentucky Court of Appeals, the Kentucky Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit. He regularly litigates cases in state and federal courts across Kentucky.
