Maria Mendoza, Esq.: Attorney with The Mendoza Law Firm

Biography

María G. Mendoza is the founder and managing attorney of The Mendoza Law Firm, LLC, combining personal experience with legal skill to help immigrants and injured people obtain stability and justice. Born near El Paso to a mother who labored under harsh conditions, she understands the challenges of undocumented life and focuses on creative, practical paths to work permits and lawful permanent residence, often without clients leaving the United States for consular processing. After law school she clerked for the Honorable Vanessa Ruiz at the D.C. Court of Appeals and served as a 2009–2010 CHCI law fellow. With thousands of immigration cases and hundreds of litigated matters, Ms. Mendoza now concentrates on immigration, personal injury, and mass torts in D.C. and Maryland, while remaining active in civic and professional groups that advance the rights of underserved communities.
