Biography

Maria Pia Garcia is an Associate in the firm's Orlando office. She focuses her practice in the areas of general civil litigation and premises liability. Ms. Garcia graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Chemistry and Biology. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law with a Business Law concentration, where she graduated cum laude . During law school, Ms. Garcia served as Treasurer of the Immigration Law Student Association and twice served as a teaching assistant for Real Property. Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Ms. Garcia worked as a family law attorney, handling high net-worth divorces involving complex business valuations and child custody disputes.
