Biography

Maria Troncoso Escobar was born in Mexico City, Mexico and raised in Tampa Bay, Florida. She attended the University of South Florida and received her bachelor’s degree in both Political Science and English Literature. She earned her Juris Doctor at Stetson University College of Law where she was the Florida Bar Law School Liaison for the Young Lawyers Division and a member of the Hispanic Bar Association. While in law school, Maria interned for a legal nonprofit in immigration and domestic violence, and as in-house counsel for a technology company.

Maria has a passion for helping those in need who are often looked over by the legal system. She considers it a privilege to represent the people, not the powerful. Fluent in English and Spanish, Maria can effectively communicate with a wide range of clients, making sure their voices are heard and their concerns addressed. In addition to her work as an attorney, Maria enjoys raising her beautiful daughter together with her husband.
