Biography

Attorney Mariane Rivera was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of the Sacred Heart, where she had the opportunity to work with vulnerable populations. This inspired Mariane to become an attorney to be able to assist others with their legal affairs. She graduated from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico with her Juris Doctor degree. Following her education, she obtained her license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, as well as her license to practice law in the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.

Working in immigration law has been a career goal for Mariane, given that she has yearned to work in an area that fulfills her both professionally and personally. Prior to joining Consumer Law Group, she developed her career in civil law focusing on employment and personnel matters, corporate, contracts, and notarial.
