Biography

Mariela Soto is an associate attorney in WSHB's Sonoma County office. Her practice includes complex torts and casualty, construction defect, and medical malpractice litigation.

Mariela graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law, specializing in Intellectual Property Law, Public Interest, and Family Law. Her time at law school was enriched by her work at the Women's Employment Rights Clinic, where she represented mistreated workers. Mariela also competed in the 2023 Traynor Moot Court, earning an Individual Excellence Award in Oral Argument.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology, with an emphasis in Law and Society, and minored in Political Science from the University of California, Davis. Mariela is bilingual, with Spanish as her native language.

Mariela enjoys hiking, fishing, and kayaking when she's not in the office.
