GIVING TO CHARITY AND COMMUNITY

Marilyn York generously gives her time, talent and about $20,000 per year to Charity and Community - mostly to the Nevada Youth Empowerment Project (NYEP) which provides a unique home for underprivileged 18 - 21 year old girls that would otherwise be homeless. These girls receive shelter, food, clothing and training to assist them in graduating from school and the program into self-sufficiency. Marilyn is a Board President of this small but mighty charity and she has been quite successful in its fund raising and sustaining longevity for NYEP.

Marilyn carefully chose her career because of her passion for families, children and relationships; and although she specializes in family law and men's rights, she has deep compassion for women and children in need. Finding NYEP was the perfect outlet to channel her compassion and energy toward helping female youth transition into self sufficiency.
