Marion Munley is a truck accident attorney recognized nationally for her work representing catastrophically injured clients. She has secured numerous multimillion-dollar recoveries, including one of the largest trucking accident settlements on record. In 2018, she became the first woman to chair the AAJ Trucking Litigation Group and is a past chair of the AAJ Women Trial Lawyers Caucus. She has also served as President of the Melvin M. Belli Society. Marion is the second woman in Pennsylvania to earn Board Certification as a Civil Trial Advocate from the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and the first woman in Pennsylvania to earn Board Certification in Truck Accident Law from the NBTA. Her professional affiliations also include the American Board of Trial Advocates, the International Society of Barristers, and the Summit Council.
Listed in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2012, Marion was named the 2024 "Lawyer of the Year" for Product Liability Litigation – Plaintiffs in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Marion earned her law degree from Temple University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton. Outside the office, she enjoys golf, travel, and time with her husband, former U.S. Representative Matthew Cartwright, their sons Jack and Matt, and their dog, Yankee Doodle Dandy. She is also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
