Marisabel Morejon

Marisa Morejon is an Associate Attorney in the Miami and Orlando offices of Resnick & Louis, P.C. and focuses her practice on civil and construction defect litigation, representing companies of various sizes. Prior to joining the firm, Marisa gained experience at a preeminent civil litigation law firm in Orlando where she handled a variety of lawsuits arising from third-party and first-party claims throughout the state of Florida. She has been responsible for participating in all aspects of litigation, including, but not limited to, pleadings, fact and expert discovery, motions, depositions, mediations, and trial preparations.Marisa attended college at the University of Central Florida, where she earned her B.A. in Finance and B.S. in Legal Studies. While at UCF, she competed on a Mock Trial Team at a National competition and served as President of UCF’s Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, Pre-Law Fraternity.She then attended Stetson University College of Law where she earned a dual Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degree. During her time at Stetson, Marisa co-founded, and was Executive Editor, of the Stetson Business Law Review. She became a member of the Dispute Resolution Board, where she competed at the National UCLA Transactional Drafting and Negotiation Competition, received a Certificate of Concentration in Business Law, and assisted as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Ellen Podgor’s White Collar Crime course. Additionally, Marisa was selected to be a Student Interviewer for the Faculty Recruitment Committee, was elected as the Chapter President of Phi Alpha Delta, Law Fraternity, and served each year as a Stetson Ambassador.Marisa is licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
