On a real estate transaction where I represented the buyer, the contract clearly stated that if the bank did not approve the buyer for financing, that the deposit would be returned. It took 4 months for the deposit to be returned after Mr. Ventrone unsuccessfully attempted to keep a portion of the deposit, despite having no legal right to do so. Read less
