Biography

Attorney Mark Albert Skelton has been practicing law in East Tennessee since 1983 and has a long track record of winning favorable results for his clients. He was born and raised in Hawkins County and has operated a successful law practice in Rogersville since 1983.

Mr. Skelton is focusing on the practice areas of bankruptcy and Social Security disability and has experience ranging from estate planning and family law to federal criminal defense.

He is committed to serving the legal needs of the community, and he also contributes to the community in many other ways. The Skelton Law Racing Series is a popular annual series of trail and road races for runners and walkers in scenic locales throughout the region. This series was founded and is sponsored and directed by Mr. Skelton. People from throughout the United States have enjoyed these events, which put a positive focus on our area and support health and fitness in East Tennessee. Mr. Skelton has also served on many local boards for charitable organizations in the area. He has been married for over 30 years and has two children presently in law school.

Mark's hobbies include running, bicycling, canoeing, and backpacking.
