Biography

Mark H. Middlen is a seasoned and tenacious family law attorney and litigator with over 30 years of courtroom experience and a proven track record of success on behalf of a wide and varied portfolio of clients.

Mark prides himself on advocating for and protecting the rights of his clients in the areas of divorce and family law; personal injury; criminal defense; and municipal real estate tax appeals. As the leader of the firm’s family law practice, Mark is adept at navigating even the most hotly contested divorce and family cases. Undeterred, Mark is known for his ability to guide clients through the process with determination and grace while his trial and litigation skills enable him to obtain highly successful outcomes for his clients.

As a husband and father, Mark brings unparalleled compassion to the practice of law, especially in divorce/family and personal injury matters. He understands that each client and each case is different, working tirelessly to advocate for his clients and craft resolutions that are just, fair, and appropriate for his client’s circumstances.

Mark is a summa cum laude graduate of Fitchburg State University (BA, 1991) and earned his law degree from Western New England University School of Law (JD, 1994), where he currently serves on the School of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors.

Mark is admitted to practice law in the federal and state courts in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

An active member of the Fairfield County Community, Mark is a proud and active member of the Norwalk Rotary Club, Stamford chapter of Business Networking International, and the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce in Shelton.

As an esteemed participant in the Fairfield County legal community, Mark is a member of the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, the Fairfield County Bar Association, and the Connecticut Bar Association. Among his many accolades, Legal Shield awarded Mark the Member’s Choice Award for Client Representation.

When not working, Mark enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with his family. He is also an avid college ice skating dad.
