As a young teenager, reading about some of the great lawyers in our nations early history like John Adams and Abraham Lincoln inspired me to be a lawyer.    After graduating from the Oak Brook College of Law I practiced criminal defense on a regular basis during the week and drove all over the western states on weekends.  I loved driving, a trait passed on by my father, a Class A driver who always seem to enjoy a good drive even when he already had been putting in long hours.    Soon some of my attorney friends started asking me to defend them on their speeding tickets and telling me that I should start up a practice focused on defending drivers. Now all of my practice is defended on keeping drivers records clean and their insurance rates low.    Over the last ten years of practice, free time has become more difficult to come by. I am the immediate Past President of the Oak Brook College of Law Alumni Association, I also serve on the Board for the Oak Brook College of Law, and I am active in mentoring up and coming law students and lawyers as they work to establish careers.    What has not changed is my love of the open road. We are privileged to live in a land of great freedom and great resources. There are so many places to go and things to do, whether for work or for fun.  It is my privilege to defend your right to drive there.
