Biography

Mark T. Koo concentrates his practice on corporate law. Mr. Koo represents clients in their corporate and general business matters, including the formation and maintenance of corporations, general and limited partnerships and limited liability companies. He also negotiates, structures and drafts business transactions for a wide variety of matters including business purchase and sales and corporate finance matters.

Mr. Koo has significant commercial and licensing experience covering SaaS agreements, software licenses, software maintenance and support agreements (including SLAs), preparing and responding to RFPs, consulting and other professional services agreements, equipment purchase agreements, and hardware purchase agreements.

Mr. Koo also prosecutes patent, and trademarks with USPTO and copyright related matters dealing with high technology companies.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Koo has held various engineering roles at software companies in Silicon Valley including early venture startups as well as large companies. He has been involved in many of the hottest Silicon Valley’s technologies such as data warehousing, wireless software and hardware technologies, and internet technologies as well as software for Wi-Fi voice communication technologies.
