Marko Kuo utilizes his unique background to execute complex deals for A-list clients in the entertainment industry. As a former entertainment and intellectual property litigator, he has extensive, unique experience in all phases of entertainment law.Prior to joining Kleinberg Lange Cuddy & Carlo, Mr. Kuo handled a wide variety of transactional matters, including the drafting and negotiation of various agreements and deals in the entertainment, digital, and technology industries, at a boutique entertainment law firm. He has also focused on intellectual property and patent law throughout his career, and has represented numerous high-profile clients, including Viacom, Inc. and eBay, Inc.Mr. Kuo has been named a Super Lawyer “Rising Star” in Los Angeles magazine for the past three years and was selected for inclusion in the 2018 edition of “The Best Lawyers in America,” which ranks him among the top lawyers in the nation. He is admitted to practice in the Southern and Central California Districts and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.Mr. Kuo earned his J.D. in 2006 from Harvard Law School, where he graduated cum laude and was Co-Chair of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association; he earned his B.B.A. (with Highest Honors) in 2003 from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma.
