Martha C. Casey

Martha C. Casey is a Partner of the firm, having specialized in all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, alimony and child support, paternity, prenuptial agreements, and domestic violence for over 25 years. Martha is widely recognized for her passionate, highly skilled, strategic advocacy. She is an experienced trial attorney in the Massachusetts Probate and Family Courts in addition to excelling at negotiating, mediating, and resolving cases short of trial.

Prior to joining Cervizzi & Associates, Martha was a Partner at Taylor, Ganson & Perrin, Boston, Massachusetts, where she practiced family law for over two decades specializing in complex support and property division issues, as well as parental rights and contested custody matters. Martha was instrumental to the growth of the firm's Domestic Relations department.

Martha is a graduate of Milton Academy, College of the Holy Cross, and Boston College Law School. Following graduation from law school, she served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Sheila E. McGovern, former First Justice of the Middlesex County Probate and Family Court. Following her clerkship, Martha was appointed an Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County where she served for three years trying numerous jury cases on behalf of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She then joined the law firm of White, Inker, Aronson, P.C., as part of their team of expert trial attorneys in the area of family law, followed by joining the law firm of Todd & Weld, in their Domestic Relations Group.

Martha is a member of the Boston Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association, having additionally served as a guest lecturer in Boston College Law School's Trial Practice Class. Martha is extremely pleased to be practicing once again with Cervizzi & Associates' founder, Laura J. Cervizzi, as they began their careers together in the early 1990s at White, Inker, Aronson, P.C., the historic Boston firm noted for its contribution to the development of modern divorce and family law.
