Biography

Martin Smalline was born in Rochester, New York, on May 14, 1961. He earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1983, graduating magna cum laude, and received his Juris Doctor from SUNY Buffalo Law School in 1986. He started his legal career in New York City, practicing with Ross, Suchoff, Tarroff, Egert & Hankin, PC from 1987 to 1990, where he developed extensive trial experience in medical malpractice and personal injury. From 1990 to 1994, he practiced in Rochester with Culley, Marks, Tanenbaum, Reifsteck & Potter, LLC, handling trial work in insurance defense litigation along with medical malpractice and personal injury cases. In 1994, he co-founded Smalline and Harri, located in downtown Albany, New York. He has practiced there continuously, focusing on civil litigation matters that often involve life-changing injuries. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
