Biography

Martin McAndrew is an experienced insurance litigator with over 25 years of experience representing insurance carriers and their insureds. Before attending law school, Martin worked for CIGNA Property and Casualty Companies as a claims representative, handling complex, long-term exposure claims on a national level.

Martin concentrates his practice in errors and omissions defense, professional liability, construction defect litigation, general liability, premises liability, product liability, insurance coverage litigation, employment liability, automobile negligence, commercial litigation, real estate transactions, and appellate advocacy.

In his errors and omissions defense and professional liability practice, Martin represents real estate agents and brokers, civil and mechanical engineers, architects, and medical professionals. He has represented national and local businesses and corporations, retail stores, property owners, landlords, youth associations, and individuals in multi-party and complex civil and commercial litigation.

Martin has an extensive trial record in both jury and bench trials in the Superior Court of New Jersey. Earlier in his career, Martin tried numerous cases in the Philadelphia County Municipal Court for a local utility company concerning collection matters, contract disputes, and property damage claims. In addition to trials, he has handled a multitude of complex arbitrations and mediations involving commercial litigation, professional liability, personal injury, construction defect, and construction liens.
