Biography

Mary Hammer is a senior associate at WSHB's Dallas office with over 20 years of legal experience. She specializes in defending clients in premises liability, trucking, and construction claims.

Mary earned her Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law and spent over 15 years at the Social Security Administration, where she advised Administrative Law Judges and drafted proposed decisions, orders, and dismissals after reviewing medical records and testimony from claimants, medical experts, and vocational experts.

Her legal career also includes work in civil rights, plaintiffs’ personal injury, environmental law, and wrongful death litigation. Mary delivers compassion, applies her breadth of experience, and demonstrates a strong work ethic, benefitting both her clients and colleagues.
