Biography

Mary Madison was raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina graduating from Myrtle Beach High School in 1999. She graduated from Wofford College, Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government in 2003. Upon graduating from Wofford College in 2003, Mary Madison attended the University of South Carolina School of Law where she clerked for the McNair Law Firm while in school and during the summer terms for 2004 and 2005.

Upon graduating from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2006, she clerked for the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, for the Honorable Dennis W. Shedd from 2006-2007. Mrs. Langway clerked for the South Carolina Court of Appeals for the Honorable Kaye G. Hearn, Chief Justice from 2007-2008.

In 2008, Mary Madison joined the law firm of Hearn, Brittain and Martin, P.A. as an associate in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. As of May 2010, she is now a partner with the Brittain Law Firm, P.A. in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she practices in the areas of divorce, child custody, civil litigation, estate litigation, wills, and appeals. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, Horry County Bar Association and the South Carolina Association of Justice.

She is married to Andrew C. Langway and has one daughter, Lillian Carson Langway.
