Biography

Matthew Ralston was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio before moving to Colorado 25 years ago. Prior to receiving his law degree from the University of Colorado, he attended Middlebury College in Vermont, where he graduated with a degree in Environmental Public Policy in 1997.

While in law school, Matt was a member of the Rothgerber Moot Court Team, and a volunteer for the Lend-A-Lawyer volunteer program. After graduation, he began his practice with a focus on litigation in the state and federal courts. Matt worked previously as in-house counsel for a number of insurance companies defending policyholders and carriers throughout the state. His practice focuses on construction defect litigation and first-party bad faith defense in property disputes in both personal and commercial lines of business. In addition, he has defended hundreds of personal injury lawsuits involving auto accidents, slip and falls, and ski accidents, and has taken numerous examinations under oath.
