Matthew Acuff

Before entering private practice, Matt Acuff served for six years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office in Metro Atlanta. He prosecuted both misdemeanors and serious felonies, guiding cases through every phase of the process—from investigation and charging decisions to courtroom litigation and jury trials. Matt’s experience includes analyzing complex facts, working closely with law enforcement, preparing witnesses, and presenting cases clearly and persuasively in court. He was soon recognized for his ability to manage demanding caseloads and handle difficult matters, and he rose to become the Managing ADA of the Special Victims Unit. There, he prosecuted cases before all Superior Court Judges and developed deep experience in high-pressure proceedings where details and preparation matter. That prosecutorial background continues to shape his approach: thorough, strategic, and focused on results.
