Biography

Born in Queens and raised between Long Island and Miami, Attorney Matthew A. Glassman combines a strong educational foundation and extensive legal experience. With a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Florida and a J.D. from Southwest University School of Law, he began his legal career in 1984, focusing on asbestos litigation in Northern New Jersey. In 1988, Mr. Glassman founded his Port Jefferson practice, dedicated to serving the injured on Long Island, particularly in Suffolk and Nassau Counties, Queens, and NYC. He is affiliated with state and local bar associations, and resides in Stony Brook, where he enjoys playing music, reading, tennis, and spending time with family.
