Matthew Burkert is a Durham, North Carolina personal injury attorney and Managing Partner of Constantinou & Burkert Accident Injury Lawyers. A Durham native, Matthew was raised in the community he now serves. He attended Parkwood Elementary School, Lowes Grove Middle School, and Jordan High School before earning his undergraduate degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology from East Carolina University. Matthew began his legal career with Constantinou Law Group, PA in 2010 while attending law school. After graduation, he joined the firm as an associate attorney and spent the following decade developing extensive experience representing clients in injury and accident cases. Matthew has extensive experience representing people injured in motor vehicle accidents throughout North Carolina. He assists clients with cases involving serious injuries, disputed liability, medical expenses, lost income, insurance claim disputes, and insurance companies that deny, delay, or undervalue claims. Outside of his law practice, Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife, Daisy, and their two children, Meelo and Della. He enjoys the outdoors, local cuisine, and sports, particularly the Durham Bulls, ECU Pirates, and Duke Blue Devils. He also supports organizations within the local community through his time and charitable contributions.
