Biography

Matthew C. Reeber is a Partner with Pannone Lopes Devereaux & O’Gara LLC and a member of the firm’s Litigation and Employment Law Teams. He is a highly skilled and experienced trial attorney and litigator, focusing his practice on defending clients in both state and federal courts.

Attorney Reeber serves as counsel for a wide range of clients and has successfully handled matters ranging from major property losses to wrongful termination claims. He prides himself on bringing matters to a successful conclusion in a timely and cost-effective manner. Attorney Reeber recently defended the Providence Water Supply Board in a case arising out of an alleged defective repair and obtained a favorable jury verdict after a five-day jury trial. He also obtained summary judgment on a claim brought in federal court against a municipality, its administrator and police department alleging wrongful termination.

Attorney Reeber has been selected by his peers annually since 2021 for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America®. He was also named a Super Lawyers Rising Star for several years, and in 2024, he was distinguished by Super Lawyers for his employment litigation practice.

He earned his J.D. in 2006 from Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. In addition to his juris doctorate, Attorney Reeber also received an Admiralty Certificate from Tulane University School of Law. Attorney Reeber received his undergraduate degree in American Studies and History, cum laude, from Colby College in 2001. He is admitted to practice law in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and Rhode Island.
