Matthew Scott is far from your typical estate planning attorney. Before he was drafting trusts, he was performing at Carnegie Hall and recording solo albums, thanks to his background in vocal performance from BYU. That same dedication to his craft now fuels MDSLaw, which he founded in 2011. Since then, Matt has prepared over 2,500 estate plans across California, Ohio, and West Virginia. He previously held high-level FINRA licenses and still maintains various insurance credentials, meaning he understands the financial "why" behind every legal "how." He doesn't work in a vacuum, he collaborates closely with a network of financial advisors and accountants to ensure his clients’ plans are rock-solid from every angle.
