Matthew Klopman, Esq. earned his B.A. from LIU Post, where he majored inPolitical Science. He earned his juris doctorate from the Maurice A. DeaneSchool of Law at Hofstra University. In his role as associate attorney, Mr.Klopman focuses on matrimonial and family law, representing clients inmatters involving custody, visitation, orders of protection, and divorce.He approaches each case with a clear understanding that family law is notjust legal, it is personal, high stakes, and often emotionally charged. Hisrole is to bring clarity, strategy, and steady advocacy when clients needit most.Mr. Klopman previously served as a staff attorney with a Legal Aidorganization, where he practiced in the Domestic Violence Bureau. In thatrole, he represented clients in sensitive and urgent matters involvingorders of protection, custody disputes, and family offenses.
