Biography

Matthew J. Warring is a founding partner at Arshad Pangere & Warring, LLP. Licensed to practice in state and federal courts, Matt was admitted to the Indiana State Bar in 2003 and the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana in 2003. He represents clients in personal injury, family law, DUI, and criminal law matters including the recent statute (May 2013) allowing some old criminal offenses, like a DUI, to be expunged from the record.

A respected lawyer, Matthew sometimes serves as judge pro tem in Lake County and Porter County. He also keeps up with interesting advances in the law by participating in events hosted by the American Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Lake County Bar Association.

Matthew earned his Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University in 2003, where he was a member of the Honors Program and participated in the criminal law clinic. While in law school, he also interned at the Porter County Prosecutor’s Office and served as a law clerk for the United Steel Workers of America. An undergraduate at Indiana University, Matthew graduated with distinction from the Kelly School of Business and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2000.

Sports are Matthew’s passion. While attending Lewis University on an athletic scholarship in 1996, he was named to the All-Conference Academic Team. He shares his enthusiasm for athletics by serving on the Board of Directors for the Valparaiso YMCA.
