Matthew Zullo

Also, I am not so proud that I am only willing to handle big complex cases. Though those kinds of cases are a true test of my abilities, I still love handling simpler cases as well. Those cases aren’t any less important to those clients, and they give me an opportunity to try some different tactics and take some measured chances that may end up paying off in a big way.”

Matthew is, by all metrics, an accomplished trial attorney; having brought hundreds of cases to trial over the course of his career, with almost 200 jury verdicts in those cases in both state and federal court. “I have to say, all other things aside, my favorite part of being an attorney is the relationships I get to have with my clients. I mean, I get to be a positive part of that person’s life and help them get past what’s likely a personal nadir. It’s simply rewarding in a way few things can be.”

Professional Credentials

Partner Matthew J. Zullo graduated from Denison University in 1983 with a degree in Economics, and from St. John’s University School of Law in 1986. He is admitted to the New York State Bar and the Connecticut State Bar. Matthew belongs to the Suffolk County and New York State Bar Associations, the American Association for Justice, the St. John’s University School of Law Alumni Association, and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. He has lectured for the New York State Trial Lawyers in the area of trial preparation. His practice has focused exclusively in personal injury litigation and medical malpractice for over 27 years.
